A bee sting is not an insect bite in ICD-10-CM - it is a poisoning. T63.441 (Toxic effect of venom of bees, accidental) lives in Chapter 19 with the toxic effects, and the sixth character is already telling you the intent, which is why no separate external-cause code is needed to say it was an accident. Get the character positions wrong and you land on a wasp, a hornet, or an assault. Then remember the code is not finished at six characters: T63.441 still needs a 7th character, and the reaction the patient actually came in for is a separate code.
